Vorgelegt werden Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung von 1085 russischen Unternehmen, die Mitte 1993 für eine Privatisierung vorgesehen waren. Im Mittelpunkt des Interesses stehen Strategien des Managements im Prozeß der Eigentumsübertragung. Die Untersuchung macht deutlich, daß in der Mehrzahl der Fälle das Verhältnis von Preis zu Aktiva auf unter 1 gesetzt wird. Hierfür können nicht nur inadäquate Bewertungsmethoden ausschlaggebend sein, sondern auch das Bestreben, über die Ausgabe von Belegschaftsaktien eine Insiderkontrolle über das Unternehmen zu gewährleisten. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird die Abhängigkeit des Angebotspreises von Anlagevermögen, Beschäftigtenzahl und Umsatzvolumen untersucht. Abschließend wird nach Determinanten für erfolgreiche Privatisierungsprojekte gefragt. (BIOst-Wpt)
